Setup is straightforward, just enable V2L in the car settings, plug it in, and you’re good to go.
Build quality feels solid and well made, with decent weather protection for outdoor use. It doesn’t feel flimsy, and the plug connection is secure once locked in. The resistance switch button is a clever touch too, making it easier to adapt to different compatible EV models without mucking around.
Just make sure your vehicle actually has V2L activated before buying, as not all models have it enabled by default. Also keep an eye on your battery level so you’re not draining it too low. This is a great third-party V2L adapter for EVs. One has to be careful, before getting this, to verify that its resistance matches the EV, as it won't work on all EVs. It didn't work on my Xpeng G6 but worked on my MG. This feels and looks like a good quality product, on par with an OEM adapter, except for the fact that it can only handle appliances up to 2.2kW, while OEM adapters can go higher. This is probably why this is cheaper than OEM adapters.

The benefit of a V2L adapter like this is that it is compact, so easy to store in the car.
The downside is that it is only 1 port - but of course that can be rectified with a power board!
It worked first time with no fuss on my BYD - just plug it in, plug a load into it (I used a vacuum cleaner) and everything worked.
The rain port is a little bit useless, might be ok to stop dew etc from dripping into the connecting face, but you will need to add something extra to keep proper rain out of the system.
